Nâng cao năng lực cạnh tranh ngành du lịch – dịch vụ Việt Nam trong giai đoạn mới.

Năm 2025, kinh tế Việt Nam chứng kiến sự bứt phá mạnh mẽ với quy mô nền kinh tế vượt 514 tỷ USD, tăng trưởng 8,02%, GDP bình quân đầu người đạt 5.026 USD. Tổng kim ngạch xuất nhập khẩu hàng hóa thiết lập kỷ lục mới, ước đạt trên 930 tỷ USD, tăng trên 16% so với năm 2024.

In this context, the application of new technologies—specifically service robots and automation—is emerging as a key trend, implemented through various roadmaps tailored to the socio-economic conditions of each region.

The question is no longer whether Vietnam will adopt robots, but how, to what extent, and through what roadmap to fit the country's practical conditions. Given its abundant workforce, competitive labor costs, and diverse service environment, Vietnam requires a cautious, controlled, and human-centric approach. Robot integration should be part of a comprehensive strategy for human development and workforce upskilling, rather than a mere mechanical replacement of human labor.

Localizing Capability: Researching opportunities for partial localization (including assembly, customization, software, and maintenance) to ensure market fit and secure support from central and local authorities.
Standardizing Case Studies: Co-creating benchmark case studies for emerging markets.

VnTPA intends to initiate this roadmap through online consultancy sessions with interested technology partners. These sessions will provide deeper insights into Vietnam's practical market demands, the pilot roadmap, and collaborative potential for the 2026–2027 period. Following these discussions, parties may proceed with official visits, face-to-face working sessions, and field surveys in Vietnam.

Initial pilot activities are expected to be deployed in major tourism and service hubs that demonstrate high readiness in both infrastructure and human resources.
