The People's Committee of Quang Nam province calls for local and foreign investment for

Cua Lo Logistics Project:

 

- Invest in dredging Cua Lo channel to serve ships of 50,000 tons.

- Invest in building a port to serve ships of 50,000 tons at Tam Hoa wharf area.

- Contribute to the development of the Container Logistics Center in Chu Lai Open Economic Zone.

- Contribute to the development of logistics in the region, reduce logistics costs, increase the competitiveness of goods for businesses in Chu Lai Economic Zone, increase the attractiveness for investors in Chu Lai Economic Zone, and help transform the economic structure and increase revenue for the state budget.

  • Project size: about 797.45 hectares (of which non-tariff area: 591.37 hectares; Port area: 206.08 hectares).
  • Current land use status: Most of it is aquaculture land brackish water, salt water, water surface area and some other types of land such as annual crop land. The land has not been cleared yet.

  • Compliance with relevant plans: The master plan for development of the national seaport system was approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1579/QD-TTg dated September 22, 2021; The general planning of Chu Lai Open Economic Zone was approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1737/QD-TTg dated December 13, 2018.

  • Total investment capital: As proposed by investors.
