The People's Committee of Phu Yen province calls for local and foreign investment for developing the following new REFINING AND PETROCHEMICAL COMPLEX project:
 
REFINING AND PETROCHEMICAL COMPLEX
  • Location: Hoa Tam commune, Dong Hoa town (in Hoa Tam Industrial Park in Southern Phu Yen Economic Zone), Phu Yen province.
  • Project location: the project is in accordance withthe General Planning for construction of the SouthernPhu Yen Economic Zone until 2040 (Decision No.1226/QD-TTg dated October 24, 2023 of the Prime Minister); National energy master plan for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 (Decision No.893/QD-TTg dated July 26, 2023 of the Prime Minister).
  • Project objectives: Investment on the construction of a refinery and petro-chemical complex to meet the growing demand of Vietnam and the world for high quality petroleum products.
  • Expected project scale:
    + Area: 300 - 350 hectares,
    + Capacity: 8 - 10 million tons/year.
